On March 1st Sir de Sablé and I set out from New Jerusalem. We were each mounted and had a pack horse along to carry all of our effects and camping gear. I had expressed my reservations at the prospect of traveling largely alone to Sir de Sablé but he was as stubborn as ever. Indeed he also refused to tell me what was so urgent that we must travel through the hell spawned storm we were suffering at the time. As ever I am left in the dark to conjecture what our purpose might be. Though I am his squire and he is supposed to be teaching me to one day assume the mantle of a full knight, I don’t always feel that my mettle receives the appropriate acknowledgment from my teacher.
